We strive to make this site important to you. To that aim we have listed all the official commission and committee meetings on our calendar. The principle of "Open Government" is important to the Democratic Party and we will try to provide an agenda to every meeting on our calendar in advance, so you know what is happening in your town. We hope this public service will support and promote healthy discussion around important issues facing our community.

Most importantly, please consider sitting on one of the many boards or commissions that allow this town to function. Whether you can afford the time commitment or not, we can always use your ideas and expertise. Regardless of your political affiliation, we welcome your insights, opinions or desires for what you want this town to be and to become. Remember, your rights and responsibilities as a citizen are not limited to the periodic casting of a vote.

Referendum on RD 11 Thursday, Jan 31 noon - 8pm. Voting is at Town Hall.

"Should the Town of Hampton apply, pursuant to General Statutes section 10-63a et seq., to the Regional School District No. 11 Board of Education, to institute a procedure for withdrawal of the Town of Hampton from Regional School District No. 11."

NOTICE OF DEMOCRATIC CAUCUS

To enrolled members of the Democratic Party of the Town of Hampton Connecticut

Pursuant to the Rules of the Democratic Party and State election laws, you are hereby notified that a caucus will be held on Saturday January 12, 2008, at 2 PM, at Hampton Town Hall to elect town committee members and to transact other business as may be proper to come before said caucus.
